        The Pacific Golden Plover is native to Hawaii.  It’s Hawaiian name Kole’a  is a migratory bird that travels between Hawaii and Alaska. Migration occurs about the time the seasons change in April.  This Kole’a suited in a tuxedo, prepares for the mating season and migtation. In a few months the Kole’a will return always to the same location to nest each year.
